Waking up even before the birds rise, just before dawn, the bride and her bridesmaids began to get ready with their hair and make-up.
It was quite the heavy rainfall that morning, as our team at Wedding Story and I arrived at their location at the Sutton Place Hotel.
Pulling in at 7:30am with our make-up artists already there since 5:00am everyone, especially the bride had felt the pressures of that busy morning and overwhelmed with exhaustion already so early into the day. Yet, everyone still beamed with anticipation for the memorable, once in a lifetime day to come.
Red roses and a long sleeve mesh bridal gown set the tone for Harry and Jennifer’s dazzling fall wedding. All ready in her dress, the bride held a full bouquet of roses and met the groom in the lobby of the Hotel to begin their day.

We set off to the Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park where the wedding ceremony was to be taken place.
The venue was once again filled with autumn décor with contrasts of red and white. A red carpet spread down the aisle with roses along the sides made it seem like a wedding straight out of a Hollywood movie, and the walls of the Pavilion were opened, offering the breathtaking resonance of the rain throughout the ceremony.
With a small group of guests including family and close friends, Harry and Jennifer’s intimate wedding ceremony brought both tears of joy and passion making a lasting impression on everyone who attended, particularly Jennifer’s mother who had seemed to be especially moved during the ceremony.
With the exchange of “I do’s” and a lovely assortment of refreshments available afterwards, we moved on from the ceremony to the photo-shoot for the bride & groom with their bridal party.

Officially Married! |
As the rainfall went from a charming light pitter-patter to a vicious downpour, a few good shots and everyone had decided to avoid the wet outdoor shoot and wait it out at the Seasons Restaurant at Queen Elizabeth Park.
Thanks to the generous married couple, everyone including our team enjoyed a light gourmet brunch before facing the inevitable rainfall. Eventually we ended up back to square one with a soggy outdoor photo-shoot, but made for some very exclusive photos.

Drenched, worn-out, and a little irritable from an exhausting shoot, the couple, the bridal party, and staff at Wedding Story headed to the reception, Kirin Restaurant at City Square.
Upon arrival, the guests were eager to meet and greet the newlyweds. Several toasts and kisses later (not to mention an exceptional meal), the bride floated back out like a goddess in her radiant gold evening gown for the last part of the night.
The rest of the night was followed by cake, desert, wine, champagne, and filled with lots of laughter and more tears of bliss. The couple seemed happy as ever and we here at Wedding Story are flattered to have been a part of their special day.

Wedding is one of the most remarkable occasions in life. Before selecting the wedding venue you should also think about the sort of budget you have available to spend on your wedding.
